Since January 2011 the own dealership centres of Mercedes-Benz Russia SAO - Mercedes-Benz Centre and Mercedes-Benz Sever – accomplish their activities on direct sales development system of the company under the joint name – Mercedes-Benz Russia. Thus Mercedes-Benz Russia SAO underscores the significance of the Russian market for the global strategy of Mercedes-Benz brand.
The company continues expansion of the direct sales infrastructure. Together with the centre on Leningradsky prospect, in June 2010 the opening of the new auto-centre in Veshki village took place, located on the 85th km of the MKAD in close proximity to Altufievsky highway. The total investment volume in the project achieved almost 30 Mio. euro. The total area of the showroom makes up 1300 sq.m. The customers are offered new vans and trucks as well as used passenger cars, vans and trucks. The service zone is equipped with 23 working stations for passenger cars and vans service and 12 working stations for trucks.
President of Mercedes-Benz Russia SAO Juergen Sauer has noted at the annual press-conference of the Car Manufacturers Committee of the Association of the European Businesses: «Beside our existing dealer network, direct sales in Russia is part of our long-term strategy on the Russian market. Daimler AG follows this strategy in the countries with high-potential and significant markets. This is the perception of our stable long-term development in Russia, based on the fact that Mercedes-Benz Russia SAO is the large employer, honest tax-payer and leads its activities following the straight-out standards of the business ethics and social responsibility».
